This kitchen renovation project focused on transforming a dated, closed-in layout into a fresh, functional space tailored for modern living. The scope involved a full demo of the existing kitchen - including removal of all cabinetry, flooring, appliances, and fixtures - followed by layout and finish upgrades that improved flow, lighting, and utility.
To enhance circulation and sightlines, we removed the exiting folding doors, widened both the kitchen entry and exit by approximately 10 inches each, and relocated the refrigerator to a more efficient location. New lighting was added throughout, including recessed ceiling fixtures and a timeless pendant over the sink, dramatically improving the overall ambiance. A new ducted range hood was added, flanked by solid oak open shelving. New underlayment and flooring were installed, followed by fresh trim, backsplash, and paint.
The result is a cohesive, polished kitchen space that balances practicality with a warm, updated aesthetic.
